Chapter 1: Background

Hello! Welcome back to the blog. I’m still learning how to integrate different functions into this website and wanted to make to archive of the process, so I will be writing about new features along the way.

I spent some time playing around with the logo and header, which functions as a thematic “guide” to the rest of the web page. It was tricky picking out a consistent color scheme but I eventually settled on orange – the same hair color as Ichigo Kurosaki (main character of Bleach). I’ll have to source for more anime related pictures to build resonance across the entire website.

I added a comment feature on new posts which will allow you to give me feedback on what you think I can improve on! Currently, it seems like comments aren’t public, but I’ve tested the function and I do receive messages on my end.

I’m now working towards generating an internal redirection system. As it is now, the website is currently only one dropdown page, but I am exploring how to link different pages that will make this website more organized. I will group my upcoming posts together and branch off from there.

That’s all for now, just wanted to share my progress the past couple weeks.
